McAfee bought by Intel

Intel has recently agreed to buy the popular security antivirus system McAfee in $7.7 million cash . We hope that it will give it for free with its processor chips which is the most popular processor company. Some months ago Google had bought the online photo editor Piknik and now it is giving it with its photo organizer Picasa for free offline.

The cheap touch screen phone from Samsung

Touch screen phones are liked by everyone but not all can afford to have it and not the branded ones after all. But Samsung has recently announced it's cheapest touch screen phone Samsung C3300 with a price range of  Rs 4000 to about Rs 4100. It comes with 2.4 inch QVGA camera and a 1.3 mega pixel camera .It have many stunting features like integrated social networking, virtual desktops, Gmail and instant messengers. It also has a  long battery life which can last for about 27 days in stand by mode and 12 hours in talk time. It has 3G, GPRS and EDGE. It also has FM radio support and Bluetooth 2.1 not to mention. For connecting it to computer we have USB support and micro SD card up to 8 GB which is more than enough for our song and photos. It has dual speaker for musical fans with MP3, MPEG4 and H.263 supporting formats.It is available in India in black colour only but is available in white, brown and pink in other countries. After all this cheapest touch screen phone of India will let us make the most of now with it.

Allowing multiple sign ins
Google now allows you to have multiple sign ins at once.


Downloading and Uploading attachments.
We can just use the new Drag and Drop feature of Gmail for Windows.You can also drag the "Download all attachments" link to save all your attachments to a ZIP file.But only if you we Google chrome browser then Drag and Drop feature works. This feature works in other browsers when they implement the required HTML5 file APIs




Offline Gmail
This makes you see your recent (50-60 mails) emails even when you are not connected in the original Gmail graphics and layout. Installs an small plug in and you are ready. Now you do not need to use outlook or a pop3 client to get them offline.Turn on offline access from the Labs tab under Settings.


Get mail from other accounts like yahoo
Now Gmail can check for the mail you receive at your other email accounts. You can retrieve your mail (new and old) from up to five other email accounts and have them all in Gmail. Then you can even create a customized 'From:' address, which lets you send messages from Gmail, but have them look like they were sent from another one of your email accounts. So, if you have 2-3 accounts and love the GMail graphics you can all your mail in one place and also send from using GMail.Please note that you can only retrieve mail from accounts that have POP3 access enabled.


Message translation
Turn on "Message translation" from the Labs tab under Settings, and whenever you receive an email in a language other than your own, Gmail will automatically translate it into a language you can understand with just one click.


Undo send
Oops, hit "Send" too soon? Give yourself a grace period of a few seconds to cancel sending, then edit your message before sending again. Turn it on from the Labs tab under Settings.


Import Contacts
Move all your contacts from Yahoo! Mail, Outlook, and others to Gmail in just a few clicks.


Signature options
From the settings page, create a signature that's automatically added to the end of all your outgoing messages.

E-mail account protection by Key logging

By using key loggers the person will set a key logger in your PC which will record every key you type and will send them to the trappers email address periodically. While setting the key logger he will send a file which will have some different icon and a different file name not mentioning key logger anywhere. When you open the file then the key logger will be installed and when you log in to your account then the password will be sent to the trappers account.So you should not install or even open anything given by someone you don't trust.

But when you go to some cyber cafe they may have installed some key logging software which can trap your password. So, we must not open something very sensitive or important from cafes but opening non sensitive data can also be trapped so there is a method to get rid of that too.
When you type your password type it by repeatedly deleting and writing again
For example for typing the password "hacking"
you should type like this  
"hand" (then backspace twice)  then  "ck"  then backspace again and then "k" again and then "in" and then backspace and then"ng". The password you typed will be off-course "hacking"

but the trapper will see it as "handckkinng"
not hacking so the trapper wont get your right password.

Installing an anti key logger software can also help it to some extend.
A good spy-ware or anti virus like Norton 360v4 will also decline the install of any key logging software
So install one good anti virus also.

E-mail account protection by Website Spoofing

Many of the trappers send an email from the name of a celebrity, that he wants to be your friend in orkut or face book or something like that, so you with excitement click on the link below and it takes you to the fake website which will look exactly like the original one and when you will try to log in your user-name along with password will be stored with them.To avoid these you should never click on links but instead yourself type the URL in the address bar. Most of the times the URL will be like the original. For example instead of www.Gmail.com you may have www.google mail .com  so don't trust on them. These type of spoofing is also done for bank accounts hacking as well.
